A literary bar brawl where writers perform their prewritten essays for a crowd and judges. Winner gets $100 and The Loving Cup of Deathless Fucking Glory. Those Who Do Not Prevail get $50.

How It Works

Is it improv?

No. We like you.

Do they write it on the spot?

They get at least two weeks.

Can I compete?

We don't know. CAN you? Go to our SUBMIT section and test your mettle.

Is there reserved seating?

There isn't. You gotta show up and snag those seats while you can. Doors are at 7pm

Is there parking?

Sadly, no. And it's Wrigleyville, so take public or prepare accordingly. Godspeed.
